Service Description

Just like a garden, every child’s communication develops in its own time and way. Some “bloom” with words, others with signs, pictures, or other tools. All of those are valid, meaningful forms of communication! This class creates a warm, supportive space where those early skills are nurtured and celebrated. Occupational Therapists are able to promote Alternative and Augmentative Communication styles to decrease frustration tolerance, improve fine motor and coordination skills, and engage in age appropriate play!
